Chocolate bark and truffle collections have invaded our shop! We've teamed up with Hedonist Artisan Chocolates to add a little something sweet to Embrasse-moi for this upcoming holiday season. Hedonist Chcolates are handmade with fresh ingredients to give as a gift or indulge in yourself.

WARNING: if you are attempting to give these chocolates as gifts be sure to have a backup present in mind as you will most likely devour them before you leave the shop.

FYI- a Hedonist is someone whose life is devoted to the pursuit of sensual pleasures.... so if there are no blogs for a while it is because I have devoted myself to the pursuit of chocolate bliss, and am most likely fired!

The concept of a conical bra means one thing and one thing only to anyone who grew up in the Nineties: Madonna and THAT outfit. The cone corset designed by Jean Paul Gaultier for her Blond Ambition tour became a reference point in fashion history, and is now reinventing itself in to the 2010 era. It has been seen on the Paris runways in Louise Goldenm Jean Paul Gaultier and Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2010 shows.

I don't even know what to say about this reinvention. One thing is for sure is that the line in the chiropractor's office will be out the door because so many men will be having whiplash if a woman walks down the street in one of these bad boys.

Madonna and the conical bra is a great Halloween outfit, but Halloween was last weekend and as far as I know it does not last longer than one night!

$3 Million Dollar Hollow Boob!

Finally, it's here! For a cool three million, you too can have a nice hollow boob too! Diamonds are suppose to be a girl's best friend, but this is just another case of an awful fitting bra. Diamonds or no diamonds, there is an obscene amount of spillage and weird looking cleavage for this style of bra.

Ok we get it, the 80's are on a comeback but this has taken it too far! Some images of the collection Rodarte is doing for Target this December have hit the web, and the only word that comes to mind to describe it is GRUNGE. Will you be heading to Target December 20th to pick up your local Grunge? Thumbs down for this tres moche twist on lingerie as fashion.

Chocoalte + Fashion = I just died and went to Heaven

Paris held its 15th World Chocolate Fair last Tuesday, featuring a fashion show with ensembles made en chocolate. One question, WHY didn't they call me to help with the clean up after the show!? Yes, I would lick chocolate off of a Parisian runway and I don't care who knows it.

French celebrities clad in candy took to the runway to benefit a children's charity. Très intéressant don't you think?

Examples of Bras That do not Fit Properly

While we are not at liberty to discuss what company used these photos as their advertisement, we can use them as a perfect example of an ill-fitting bra! As expert bra fitters, these images make our stomachs turn! Can you spot why these three bras do not fit properly? If not then you yourself are most likely wearing the wrong size bra!!

1. The first bra is causing "mountain boob"- when the cup is too small and your breast is spilling out of the top causing an extra boob to form. Needless to say not a good look when you're wearing a fitted top. The breast is clearly being squished by the bra- let the girls breathe!!

2. Is this picture going for cleavage or a squished boob look? I don't think I've ever had a customer ask me to give them a bra that will make them look squished- if it's cleavage you want, this is not the proper way to obtain it. A push up bra should not only lift, but separate as well!

3. The hollow boob. Yes, when your bra does not fit properly it can create a concave look in your chest (as seen at the breast bone above). A bra is supposed to rest directly on your breast bone, not an inch away from it therein causing the hollow boob.

I bet these models are itching to get out of these bras as fast as possible because there is no way these sizes are comfortable!

Lingerie is making quite a name for itself in the fashion scene in Paris this week! Celebrities are turning heads as they don intimates as outerwear, and all week designers have been adding their visions to the newest trend. I am dying over Dior's RTW Spring 2010 line that is dripping with forties film noir and of course, lingerie. John Galliano devoted the spring show to the queen bee of such forties gals, Lauren Bacall, and her trench-wearing other half, Humphrey Bogart. WWD.com states, "he replaced traditional suits with unmatched pairings, including those with satin tap pants and an embroidered tulle dress. “It’s younger,” he said. “The ladies will find matching pieces in the boutiques.”

What the genius says is true, you will find them in the boutiques, especially at Embrasse-moi! Do catch the train too late on this trend and end up in the caboose...
